Just a thank you for a great job.
The ride to your premises from Oxford was cold and not very enjoyable on icy roads, especially on a snatchy KTM! Don’t get me wrong, I like the brutality of the 990, that’s part of its attraction, but being jerked back and forward at 40 mph is irritating, not fun.
The ride back after the remap was a pleasure. You were right, first roundabout, hand off clutch, a breeze! When in traffic at 40 mph, you were right again, no jerkiness at all. Smooth delivery, no surging and a great mid-range improvement were all apparent, as you promised.
Why spend a load of money on bits to iron out these problems (that don’t seem to fully work, according to forums) when you can get this done in a few hours and it’s guaranteed to work, for 300 quid, it’s a no brainer. Everything was well explained after the remap and I am now looking forward to my next 4-day trip.
