This is a salutary tale of how the simplest things can (nearly) become big things… in BSD Office Queen Gill’s own words:
“This F4 came in as a non-starter. On further investigation Mark found that the customer’s friend had put a new battery on the wrong way round. Mark then also methodically checked the continunity of the wiring – luckily, as there was also a connector block that was faulty and a blown fuse. The customer was SO lucky that the battery fit did not blow the ECU! While the bike was here it also had a pair of tyres fitted and an M.O.T.”
