This R1 had the full boat – Power Commander PC V, BMC air filter and Akrapovic titanium pipes onboard – but the owner really had no idea if it was good, bad or indifferent. He asked us to go through it, map it and make it the best it could be. We first made sure that the PC V was fitted correctly (it was), then blanked off the secondary air valve (he had an 02 Eliminator Kit fitted). Mapping the unit was then straightforward. Really, everything was all there; it just needed setting up.
Saucy! Full-boat R1 just needed some Dyno time and experience to get everything working nicely.
