This T-Bird had been big bored to 1700cc, and the owner wanted the fuelling and speed restrictions sorted out via an ECU remap. The important thing for this particular bike as well was to pay attention to the cross over map from the Manifold Air Pressure (MAP) map to the main throttle position table.

This is a very controlled and intrusive area for the engine and once you switch off the lambda sensors and shut the closed loop adjustments have to be made so that the rider controls the fuelling, rather than the lambda. Once having gone through the whole remap process it feels like a different bike!
