Kawasaki’s ZX-10R is a monster of a motorcycle – but it can be made better. And an ECU remap matched to a ‘long’ end-can and free-flowing air filter go a long way to making the bike much more rideable. And can deliver over 190bhp at the rear wheel. Owner Matthew brought his machine in for the treatment – which included removing a Power Commander (giving us the opportunity to have so much more control of the engine through the ECU) and was kind enough to email his thoughts after the work. We don’t have a pic of his bike (Gill was making the tea…) but cheers mate anyway!

  Hi,

the testimonial I promised!!!

I took my 2011 ZX-10R to BSD for the Power Commander to be removed and the ECU to be remapped – it now drives hard through the lower three gears and is producing more usable power and torque, particularly lower down in the gears than before. It runs flawlessly.

I would recommend the remap to any ZX-10R owner, it’s the best mod I have done to the bike with considerable money spent previously. I trusted Mark to safely do the remap and I was right to do so.

Kind regards,

Matt Roberts

Long end-cans are the way forward for decent ZX-10R power, with an ECU remap to match.
