This 2006 Yamaha XV1900 Stratoliner, was booked in with us to have a full Cobra exhaust system, a Dynojet fuel controller fitted and set up on the dyno.
The owner did not like the original exhaust and had ordered the new system from the U.S.A, but unfortunately it took over a month to arrive, sitting in customs for a long while.
Now the company that sold it did not know whether it would fit this model, because it was only listed for the Roadliner but the bikes are basically the same lay out, but the Stratoliner had added accessories for example saddlebags, which would not be on the bike anyway.
Well it fitted perfectly and sounds very throaty, just the sort of sound you expect from a custom, and with the fuelling all set up, the customer was very happy with the results, despite the long wait!
