Ian Gray brought his KTM 990 SMT on a Saturday for an ECU remap. It was already fitted with a K&N filter and Beowolf cans and responded well. The SMTs are definitely the most straightforward to sort on the Dyno via the ECU as the engine is well balanced stock and can be improved big style. Here’s Ian’s thoughts post-remap…
Just had my SMT 990 remapped, absolutely fantastic. Now smile when a roundabout looms in the distance – can concentrate on blasting round it rather than hoping to stay on. All throttle glitchiness gone and perfect all round.
