We remapped this Street Triple for Webbs, our local Triumph dealer in Eye. These are a straightforward job and what the engine desperately needs is fuel, as stock they’re super-lean leading to a dead spot when rolling off/on the throttle.

Once we’ve switched off the lambda and taken out the restriction in the ignition maps through the lower gears we’re getting somewhere. Then we bring the main throttle position map much more into play (as opposed to the Manifold Air Pressure map) and can  make some sense of the fuelling.

And the power delivery becomes liquid smooth – fluid like a beautiful set of carbs. Which is the highest praise for a fuel-injected bike!

An ECU remap gives the lovely Triumph Street Triple liquid-smooth power delivery.
