Blimey, some carbs to play with! This VN came to us from Bikes and Trikes and wasn’t running quite right with it Vance & Hines pipe. So it was out with the box of main jets (just like the old days…). We also adjusted the pilot jet and needle height to get it fuelling spot-on.
We’ve done quite a few customs recently – later bikes with fuel injection really respond to an ECU remap as their engines are fairly well strangled. But we do like looking at a carburettor every now and then, just to keep us honest!
This VN1500 now has a carb set up to match its pipes.
