On the dyno today for a return visit, was this Ducati Scrambler, that we first saw in April 2018 for ecu re-mapping. Now because the bike mileage was very low, we advised the owner that it would have to come back for the fuel map to be tweaked on the dyno, when he had done a few more miles.

Since we saw it then, the bike has been competing in the DTRA (dirt track rides association) Hooligan class, that is for 750cc and over, two cylinders or more, the class for converted roadbikes, keeping the standard cylinder layout and frame loop, but the rest is free.

The owner has won quite a few races last year and was 3rd overall, due to a few crashes and a “did not finish” at the start of the year but the main competition comes from the much bigger engine Harley’s and Indian’s.

Good luck for 2019 from all a BSD!
