Winter’s icy grip maybe slowly strangling the life out of the UK at the moment but we’re getting a steady stream of KTM V-twins through the doors for ECU remapping – a lot of them up from London where they’re used for commuting and the snatchy throttle is a real handful in more ways than one…
James dropped his 990 SMT in recently for the usual; Lambda/emissions sort-out, MAP remapped, adjustment of the opening of the secondary butterfly valves plus ignition and fuelling tables. He took the time to drop us an email:
Hi Gill,
Sorry for the delay, I’ve been working hard recently and fallen behind in correspondence!
The bike was much better thanks, I noticed more wells in the middle range of revs, and the power delivery was much less manic. More like a Jag than like a computer game, if you know what I mean!
Very pleased, thanks!
James
