These Street Triples respond well to an ECU remap and we like doing ’em. The owner of this one had put a link pipe and end-cans on it; we de-restricted it in the first 3 gears and sorted the emissions equipment and lambda out. The fuelling was horrendous, so needed some big adjustments to give it more fuel where it needed it.
The midrange drive was transformed – thanks to a free breathing, de-restricted engine getting the fuel it needed…
This ‘Trip was short of fuel and strangled – nothing an ECU remap couldn’t sort out.
