We couldn’t help but nickname this pair of mates – with two GSX-R1000K8s – as Batman and Robin as one bike was wrapped in a Dark Knight Gotham style. Great lads, no pretentions, both came over from Birmingham on a Saturday morning; the Batbike had a Taylormade exhaust fitted and in the owner’s words was “absolutely horrible…” to ride. So we strapped it on the Dyno and got busy setting up the PC III that was fitted – in the end it made about 168bhp at the back wheel.
The owner of the blue bike, with twin open pipes, prior to the work was unsure about the whole process and very worried about the high revs on the Dyno. Anyway, he had nothing to fret about, and his bike made 172bhp at the back wheel after PC III setup! We guess Batman will have to return (or something…).
