We find generally that all Triumphs respond well to an ECU remap, with a marked improvement in both throttle response and feel and of course power and torque. We’ve done plenty of triples and big twins (the Thunderbird’s properly corked up and is transformed) but this is one of the first of the Bonneville twins we’ve seen.
And in this Scrambler form it’s a beauty. We could rattle on about lambdas, emissions, fuelling and ignition tables all day long but sometimes it’s best left to our customers – and this is one of those occasions.
