We’ve seen this GSX-R a few times – a while back we reluctantly fitted a mechanical ‘auto-blipper’ which matches the revs as you change down the gearbox.
The owner hasn’t used it much since then but recently cracked it out of the garage and bought it back for some auto-blipper adjustment (we did advise him at the time that as it was a very mechanical device working on a vacuum it might need some after it had bedded in…).
We checked it on the Dyno and had to tell that because of the GP exhaust onboard the fuelling really needed sorting. Because of the auto-blipper an ECU remap wasn’t really an option because we weren’t sure of what effect a remap would have on it – so out came the Power Commander. And it setup a treat!
