Through the workshop today, this lovely example of a 2002 Yamaha R1.

The bike had been fitted with a Arata exhaust silencer and had been booked in by it’s owner for a service.

Now the bike has not really been used recently and we are finding that most of the carburettor bikes that we see, need to be fitted with new carb kits, mainly because of what today’s modern fuel does to the components.

New oil and filter, brake fluid, coolant, carbs sorted and a general check over, the bike is now ready for summer riding!
