On the dyno this morning, we have this Suzuki GSXR1000K8 fitted with a Yoshimura exhaust and standard air filter. The customer had booked in to the workshop for new spark plugs to be fitted and the ecu re-mapping.
Switching off all the emission controls and removing any gear restrictions, we could then map the bike to suit the exhaust.
Now the bike is already for the spring/summer ride outs and unless the customer makes any physical changes to the bike, the fuel maps we have written will stay permanently.
