The owner of this 2015 Norton Commando 961 Sport, came to see us about getting his bike’s fuelling set up. Now ecu re-mapping for this model is not an option, and there is no Power Commander listed to fit either, so we had to put our thinking caps on and try and work out an option.
Doing some research, we discovered that a BMW PC5 would fit straight onto the Norton, without having to adapt any of the connectors, with the power commander fitted, lambda sensors removed and bungs fitted, we could set about fuelling the bike on the dyno. Hopefully now the owner will have the bike he wanted, with an overall improvement in the way the bike runs at all speeds.
