GSX-R K7 & K9 Dyno set up

Two mates, two Suzuki GSX-Rs… the bike in the foreground is a K7, the other’s a K9 (the K7 was owned by the chap that now owns the K9). It appears there’s a bit of rivalry (you know how it is) between the two. They bought both bikes in for a Power Commander set up on the Dyno; the K7 left with 172bhp, the K9 183bhp, and the owners were delighted (giggling like google-eyed asylum dodgers, actually). The K9 was fitted with a Dynojet quickshifter, which was not performing consistently – we’re finding ignition-cut systems (like Cordona) are a little more predictable in use than the fuel-cut systems.

Back in black; battling GSX-R mates get serious, and serious horsepower.
