This ECU remap went very well.
There wasn’t anymore power with the Rottweiler airbox and JCE exhaust (it wasn’t a full system) but when it was all done the engine was lovely and smooth. The owner was keen to not lose any power, he just wanted the bottom-end delivery cleaned up.
We made all our changes on relatively small throttle openings, up to about 12% throttle. So when you came off the throttle – and back on – it was silky but then it was away on full power. It left us with 146bhp but a much nicer feel to actually use.
