This 2016 Yamaha R1 was booked in with us for ecu re-mapping, because the customer did not like the harshness of the throttle.
The bike had been de-catted and had a Akrapovic silencer fitted.
We started by switching off all the emission controls, disabling the top speed limiter and then fuelling the bike on the dyno to suit the changes.
Now the bike is smooth off the throttle at all speeds and the fuelling has been optimised for all rev ranges.
