The owner of this Triumph 675, an old mate of ours, brought it in after fitment of an Arrow can and said “will you have a look at it…?” So via the ECU we de-restricted it – neutralised the SAI and flapper front valve and switched off the lambda sensor – then had a good look at the ignition maps through the gears, as they’re restricted too.
Next job was to give it the fuel it needed, and the result was 122bhp at the rear wheel, a lovely delivery and crisp throttle response. Good job! So many engines these days are fabulous – but you’d never know coz they’re strangled by emissions. Once uncorked they’re completely transformed…
Take away the restrictions and wahay! Brand new motorcycle…
