This beauty is the latest model 675 which we can’t ECU remap: Triumph have deliberately made these – the last of this incarnation of the 675 engine in EURO 3 spec – tamper proof.
A Power Commander is the only option to dial in the fuelling to suit an end-can, so we bolted one in and went to work. These are good, solid engines and with the PC V onboard this one made around 120bhp, and because there’s an awful lot of stuff we can physically do (disconnecting various things) they respond well.
Ironically this particular machine came via a Triumph dealer on behalf of their customer… ahem.
