We’ve remapped a few of these Speed Triples and found them to be restricted via the ignition in the lower gears, so we switch all of that off as well as the lambda sensor and SAI valve, which makes a big difference to drivability and throttle response. This one we then mapped the fuelling to suit the Arrow system and got good power – 122/3bhp at the rear wheel.
They’re solid engine hamstrung by emission legislation – like so many.
