The owner of this Speed Triple had changed his pipe and was worried about potential internal damage, so left it with us for a week.
Now we reckon for whatever reason – maybe warranty purposes – Triumph are deliberately mapping these engines to a fairly placid and conservative state. By the time we’d finished the remap (more ignition is key to making these engines fly) this one had over 120bhp at the back wheel and went like stink!
