The owner Daniel wanted a full system fitting after running his spanking GSX-R750 in for a 1000 miles… and then he wanted a full ECU remap to sort it all out. So on went the pipe and then got into the ECU. The beauty here is everything we can do; switch off the exhaust valve, lambda and secondary air plus we amalgamated the fuelling and ignition tables, taking out all the restrictions in the process.
Bearing in mind it’d only done a 1000 miles (we’d normally like to see ’em for an ECU remap a bit looser) it made just shy of 140bhp at the rear wheel. To be honest, that figure didn’t impress us; it was the power delivery. This 750 felt much more like an early K1 1000 engine. Can’t help but love that!
