The owner of this bike was interested in an ECU remap, and removal (and sale) of the Power Commander he had onboard help towards the cost. And the real bonus is that via the ECU we can switch off all the limiters and restrictions, plus the emissions rubbish, which instantly gives the engine a noticeable boost. None of which is an option with a Power Commander…

Then we adjusted the fuelling and ignition to suit the engine and exhaust. Effectively you end up with an engine as originally designed and intended by the manufacturer, minus the interference required by law. This GSX-R left us with a crisp, sharp motor – just as Suzuki really made it.
