A nice straightforward ECU remap these GSRs. We switch off all the emissions nonsense and remove the ignition restrictions, and then map the fuelling.

With a Power Commander you’re masking the problems, not fixing ‘em but through the ECU we also make changes to the Manifold Air Pressure tables (most important) and map the throttle position too; both of which are a major advantage. On this bike the secondary butterflies are restricted to help with airbox noise and resonance, so we sort them to open smoothly and progressively, rather than stepped as they do stock.

The net result is a smoother delivery, with the benefit of extra power which while there as standard, is shut off. Lovely!
