2011 Suzuki Hayabusa ECU remap – an owner’s words

By 22nd October 2013ECU Remap, Suzuki

Gill from the office here. I’ve found 5 seconds when not answering the phone/making tea/doing everything else to write up an owner’s thoughts…

This 2011 Suzuki Hayabusa was fitted with a Power Commander, but the owner James had heard what we could do with an ECU remap. He first visited us in August to have half the remap, and came back after he had removed the Power Commander to let Mark finish the job. Here’s what he had to say:

Hey All,

Just a quick email to say the bike feels fantastic… throttle response is awesome, the bike was never slow but pulls like a tractor in any gear now… the slight ‘dip’ in power between the 3500-4500rpm range has been eliminated… The issue I had with rolling off the throttle on downhills/coming into roundabouts and the bike ‘stuttering’ has disappeared… will be back with wife’s bike after the NEC show if we can found an exhaust!

James

The Power Commander is no more, instead a BSD ECU remap has sorted this 'Busa.
