This Hayabusa came in wearing a GSX-R1000 rear end, and obviously the owner’s put some time and effort into it. The fuelling was very lean through the bottom end, so we addressed that and the response was instant, in terms of throttle response and output.
We also took the top speed limiter off it, the ignition restricter in the first three gears and set the secondary butterflies to open a bit earlier. Most Suzukis we re-map respond well, and the Hayabusa is no exception. More speed cap’n!
