The B-King really responds well to an ECU remap, and we can sort out the restrictions in the ignition maps through the gears without having to resort to any plug-in gadgets. Obviously we also switch off all the emissions interference while we’re at it…

There’s also a horrible restriction in the secondary butterflies in the top-end, which we also get rid of; we maintain the high gas flow (for a strong bottom-end) but set them in such a way that they don’t impede the rush to the redline.

Once they’re fuelled right and after all the restrictions are done with the B-King is a monster. This one’s owner had fitted a Two Brothers exhaust and K&N filter, and after the work power rose from 167.17 to 176.96bhp.

Set ’em free and B-Kings rule!
