Cordona strain gauge quickshifters – as fitted to this club race Suzuki GSX-R1000 – work extremely well, and are very reliable. This one wasn’t doing anything however, which the owner found out on a track day in Spain, as by changing the gearbox direction from ‘road’ (1 down 5 up) to ‘race’ (1 up 5 down) he’d put it out of action. A simple re-program sorted the job.
