We have been re-mapping for the KTM 990 range now for 9 years and in that time we have seen up to 800 plus bikes on our dyno.
The first KTM we re-mapped was a SMT990, which was a long term loan bike for one of the Motorcycle News journalists, a standard bike at that time, but a little later it came back with Akrapovic exhausts fitted. There was a double page spread featuring the KTM and ecu re-mapping, the results and opinion of the rider, which was positive.
Since then we have got more experienced in spotting the little problems the range, and the fuel mapping has improved with so many different exhausts fitted, some with airboxes and some still standard, but every bike is different so the dyno is very important for custom fuel maps.
We have seen owners come from as far away as France, Holland, Ireland, Wales, Scotland and of course England and after 9 years they are still coming!
