Ecu re-mapping has become very busy for us at BSD but sadly there are still some bikes that we still cannot access.
Now this KTM 690, we thought we may not be able to plug in and communicate with the ecu but it turns out we could but once the bike was on the dyno the power was lacking, we soon realised that something was not right.
The fuel pressure was down, and the fuel pump was faulty, it needed replacing and then we could re-map properly.
You can see by the graph that the power was way down and the difference when it had a new fuel pump, now the bike’s throttle is smooth and ready to be ridden!
