2013 Kawasaki ZX-14R ECU remap and fit Leo Vince cans

We were very pleased with the ECU remap on this American-spec Kawasaki from the local airbase – no messing around with secondary modules and 197bhp at the back wheel by the time it was all done! Now that’s a lot of power but what’s good about this engine is that it doesn’t make all that punt in a brutal way.

We switched off all the emissions nonsense and the great thing about being able to ‘talk’ directly to the ECU is that the map can be tailored perfectly. The fuelling and ignition tables were remapped to suit the engine and pipes (which fitted well and looked great) and while it gained 8bhp at the top end the real difference was through the middle – a monster. But a very usable monster…
