The enterprising customer of this Ducati 1198S had made his own open end cans – by gutting a used pair and inserting his own tubes – and brought the bike in for an ECU remap and some Dyno time.
We were very pleased with the result; from 159 to over 169bhp sounds good but what really made a difference to how the engine felt was the extra 15bhp through the middle, with a much healthier torque curve and smoother power delivery.
