The Ducati Streetfighter is, er, a proper monster of a motorcycle. But it can be made better with an ECU remap to iron out its power delivery a little. Sim brought his in earlier this year, and was kind enough to drop us an email with his thoughts shortly afterward. Cheers mate!

Hi Mark and Gill

I couldn’t wait any longer and took the bike out for a run yesterday. Not having ridden it since October last I knew it would feel fast first time out, what I wasn’t expecting was the smoothness of the power delivery alongside the sheer brute force of the motor.

The full open pipe system along with the remap you have done has really made a massive difference to the bike and with 157bhp at the rear wheel that it now generates I can’t stop smiling.

Many thanks,

Sim

As soon as I have chance I will pop down and get that update put on…

Not Sim's Streetfighter, but one very like it sorted by an ECU remap switching off the emissions interference and giving it the fuel it needs!
